Connecting
In the BlkFin merchant portal, open Invoices → QuickBooks or Funding → QuickBooks and click Connect QuickBooks. Sign in to Intuit, choose your company and approve. We ask only for access to your accounting data.
One-time QuickBooks setup
- Turn off QuickBooks' own automatic sending, reminders and online payments (Settings → Account and settings → Sales)
- Save invoices with Save and close, not Save and send
What we read and write
We read your company name, customers, invoices and account names. We write payments (on the invoices your customers paid) and deposits (to the bank account you choose). We never change or delete your records.
Disconnecting
Disconnect any time from the portal, or in QuickBooks under Apps → My apps → BlkFin. Syncing stops right away and we delete our access. Everything already recorded stays, invoices you've sent can still be paid, and you can reconnect whenever you like.
Your data stays yours
Your QuickBooks connection is encrypted and never shown in a browser. We use your data only to run the features you turn on, and we never sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI.
